In Charge
You are in charge of your own life.
Simple as that. Yet surprisingly easy to forget.
So many external actors want your attention, time, and energy.
Yes, we are constantly bombarded by ads. But there are also other actors with less visible agendas.
The company you are working for is looking to maximize profit. That’s what a company does and I have no problem with that. But you have to remember this. You have to protect yourself and make sure the company is not in charge of your life.
Same goes for so many things in life. Society around you, with it’s rules, traditions, and norms. Are you letting that be in charge?
What about your parents? Your community? Your friends? Your old habits? Your feelings? Your fears?
Something is always in charge. Make sure it is you.
